What Goes Around Comes Around
Tonight I cooked you dinner
I laid a rose beside your plate
I telephoned your office
And you said 'you’re working late'
Well that's ok my darling
'Cause there's money to be made
But what I didn't realise
Was, you were busy getting laid
How could you do this to me?
After all that we've been through
And not a single day ever passed
Without me saying 'I love you'
Now I'm left in tears
And feeling all confused
I'm feeling cheep and dirty
At the thought of being used
'I pack up your stuff for you
'Cause I don't want you back no more
But it wasn't very long
Before you came knocking at my door'
Today she ran off with your best mate
She said that 'he was cool'
But you had fell in love with her
And she took you for a fool
Now you're begging me to take you back
You say 'I'm all you ever wanted'
But I shut the door on your face
Your lies had been expected
You see, this time I've learned
And like I always say
“What goes around comes around
And I believe that was today”.
